Anton Marrero

Anton Marrero is an IT entrepreneur and startup advisor, and a co-founder of Softline and Intecracy Group. His background is in systems engineering at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where he taught artificial intelligence in 1991. In 1995, he co-founded Softline in Kyiv, bringing that technical experience into enterprise software development.

Softline's early work included systems for the Agro-Industrial Exchange, Khlib Ukrainy and Ukrposhta, followed by the Megapolis business platform in 1998. US investment in 2000 supported expansion; by 2007, the company had nearly 1,000 employees and its own training centre. By 2009, its track record included more than 500 completed projects and over 40 software products and specialised solutions.

The 2008–2009 period brought a shift towards collaboration with US and European partners through Intecracy Group. Group companies went on to work together on larger international assignments, combining enterprise software, systems integration and infrastructure expertise. For Anton, this extended the work of building a software company into developing an international technology business.

Anton serves on the Supervisory Board of Intecracy Ventures. Founded in 2017, the company advises technology business owners, executives and institutions on asset management and IT. Its work covers business assessment, financial models, investor materials, due diligence and preparation for investment, a sale or ownership restructuring. Governance, management quality, intellectual property and technical risk are central to that work.

He is also part of the team behind Intecrator, a Venture Builder programme introduced as a joint initiative of Intecracy Ventures and EY in Ukraine. The programme helps technology teams move from prototype or MVP to a market-ready product, addressing product development, financial structure, operating processes and go-to-market planning, with opportunities to work with corporate partners across Intecracy Group.
